Mid-Semester Updates!

We are half way through the semester and its been busy with all kinds of exciting happenings in the lab

First, we welcome three new undergraduate researchers to the lab! Brice Hembree has joined our ongoing project on tropical lizard malaria. T’ariah Sprouls joined the lab and is starting a new WEEOLab project focused on tropical lizard microbiomes. Sam Wilson is working with graduate student Desi Wilson (no relation) to develop a project focused on local populations of Mediterranean house geckos Hemidactylus turcicus. Learn more about them and their interests here

Second, the WEEOLab grad students have been doing some fantastic biodiversity centered outreach with some of the local schools. Check out a sampling of all the cool reptiles (feathered and not) that they brought to introduce to the students!
