There are often research opportunities in the lab, especially for students with majors centered through the Department of Biology (biology, zoology, physiology). Research opportunities vary, and lab members work with undergraduate student researchers to develop projects that allow them to gain valuable experience while doing science. Information for prospective graduate students. I can accept both master’s (ms) and doctoral (PhD) students in Biology. I am keen to recruit grad students to start in fall 2027. Please send me an email (summer/fall 2026) that describes your research interests, perhaps outlines some questions you would like to address, and how you envision them aligning with those of the lab! I am open to a wide array of systems and questions!
Information for prospective post docs and visiting scholars. I do not currently have any funded positions, but I am happy to work with you to develop a fellowship proposal to join the lab. Some potential sources for postdoc support and fellowships can be found here, here, here, and here. The NSF postdoctoral fellowship in biology (PRFB) is generally due in November.
